Measure a painting job straight off the drawings.
Open the architect's PDF, trace each room on the plan, and Paint Square works out the ceiling, wall and floor areas as you go. Switch off the walls you're not painting and the figures follow.
What it does
Paint Square is a take-off tool built for commercial painting contractors. You upload the drawing set, pick the pages you're pricing, set the scale, then trace the rooms you're painting.
Click any wall to take it out of the take-off — glazing, tiling, an existing finish you're not touching — and the wall area recalculates on the spot. Ceiling heights, cut-outs and surface toggles all sit on the room, so the numbers stay right when the scope changes.
What it measures
Internal and external surfaces, each tracked separately so they can be priced at their own rate.
Who it's for
Painting contractors pricing commercial work off architectural drawings — schools, childcare centres, fit-outs, aged care. It suits the estimator who is already measuring these jobs by hand and wants the arithmetic done for them.
